Holding Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Kaan Ateş has achieved notable accomplishments on both national and international stages throughout a leadership career spanning over 30 years.
Ateş began his career as a Quality Assurance Manager at well-established institutions such as the Boyner Group (Altınyıldız). Thanks to his strategic vision and operational expertise, he rapidly ascended to senior executive roles. He has served as Group CEO, CEO, and General Manager at leading companies in their respective sectors—spanning a wide spectrum of industries from textiles and chemicals to furniture and retail—including the Flokser Group, Festival Halı, Calligaris, İpek Mobilya, and the Orjin Group.
Kaan Ateş channels the profound expertise and strategic management experience he has gained across these diverse sectors into Mentalisk Consulting, the firm he founded, guiding companies toward sustainable growth and financial excellence. In addition to his active role as CEO at Mentalisk, he also shapes strategies in the world of international finance as a Member of the Financial Advisory Board at the London-based Nartio.
H.Murat KUTUN
Managing Partner
Graduating from Marmara University’s Faculty of Economics in 1992, H. Murat Kutun began his career at İktisat Holding. In the various managerial roles he undertook there, he built a solid corporate foundation by working on strategic issues such as team and corporate structuring and the establishment of marketing channels, reporting directly to senior management.
Subsequently, Kutun transitioned into the world of entrepreneurship, where he spearheaded pioneering projects, achieving several firsts in their respective fields in Turkey. He grew his venture, Yeşilköy Sigorta, into the holding's largest agency and later played a key role in the establishment of Tele Sigorta, Turkey’s first tele-insurance company. In the media sector, he founded Artshop Publishing, which launched the country's first DVD movie magazine.
In 2002, Kutun entered the finance sector as a partner at the London-based Prinkipos Commodities Finance. During this period, he not only assisted numerous firms with investment loans and financing but also provided comprehensive management consulting services. Also active in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Kutun contributes to various social projects. He now leverages this multifaceted experience as a Managing Partner at Mentalisk Consulting to drive the success of his business partners.
